Halloween is coming, tell me what you’re doing

Halloween may be over a month away and my costume is already sorted (as if I’ve ever gone as anything other than a vampire), but over here in Europe Halloween isn’t as big. I know there are big parties in New York City, San Francisco, and even Toronto, but what else is happening? If you know of a gruesome event, the more vampire related the better, please share with everyone. The boyfriend and I have been thinking of going someplace cool (in Europe) but so far no one is promoting any events. I’m sure in the next few weeks, the big parties will be announced so eventually we’ll find something. Don’t keep your local festivities to yourself!

Gay vampire novel Vampire Maker by Michael Schiefelbein, the fourth vampire book featuring the character Victor. Like the previous books the story is too hung up on religion and focuses on various struggling priests rather than the vampires. While not the worst vampire book out there, the whole novel dragged to one conclusion which was not dissatisfying, but as very little happened, it could have been wrapped up sooner. Read more

Welcome to the latest version of Gay Male Vampire. I got a little bored with the old design, and as I want to introduce some new features plus clean up some parts of the site, it was time for a new theme. So I have gotten my techie to do start doing some tweaks, but now I need to update many of the old articles. I appreciate your patience while all the changes are implemented, of course doing this live is better than shutting down the site as the work is done. The dark is returning

Summer is drawing to a close. The nights are growing longer and hopefully the vampires will be out more often. Except it seems the vampires of Twinklight are nowhere to be found. The most recent update was mid-July after a two-and-a-half month wait. I have not renewed my Twinklight.tv membership, which I think a lot of you have also done. It’s sad. I really want to support Twinklight but there are been so few updates and no news from the website that it makes no sense to keep paying for something I’m not receiving. I might consider resubscribing when new videos are added, but at the point I need to see plural videos, one video every two months is not worth the monthly price. And it’s disappointing because Twinklight has so much potential, yet soon these boys will hardly be twinks anymore… or be out of porn entirely. Read more

Bite Club: A West Hollywood Vampire Novel

The bars of West Hollywood, California, have always played host to a fair share of life-sucking monsters, but until now that’s been mostly metaphoric. After three prime cuts of gay male beef turn up filleted and drained of blood, Sheriff Clive Anderson, Coroner Becky O’Brien and City Manager Pamela Burman are forced to the realization that something possibly not human has taken up residence in Boys’ Town- something with more than the usual taste for male flesh. Fortunately, Becky’s college pal Chris Driscoll is something of an expert on serial killers, but when she calls him in for a consult, she is startled to find that he hasn’t aged a day in 10 years. When she accidentally stumbles over him napping in his coffin, he lets her in on his little secret: “Yep, I’m a vampire!”

He also informs her that the serial killer is a rogue vampire and that she and Sheriff Anderson are going to need to think about some unorthodox crime-fighting techniques. Exciting and very, very funny, Bite Club is a rollicking black comedy in which the crime-fighting community and the undead community create an uneasy alliance to stop a monster!

Vampires have gone back in the coffin

It’s been a month since the last update from Twinklight, and that update had been months late. I’ve been asking you all to keep supporting Twinklight, but it’s hard to wait without news. And there’s not much else happening in the world for gay vampires. Sure the remake of Fright Night will be released soon, and it looks good, but it’s not that gay. Unwelcome by Michael Griffo, the sequel to Unnatural will be released at the end of August, but it doesn’t look like many of you were interested in this teenage vampire love story. No things are quiet. Too quiet.

If you have been watching Teen Wolf on MTV, you’ll know it’s first season of 12 episodes will end this Monday. It’s been a good series with a few sexy boys who thankfully don’t completely wolf out. However unlike vampire dramas that have had werewolves added (Vampire Diaries, The Lair), no vampire has been added to Teen Wolf as yet. Maybe we’ll be lucky and the gay character will become a vampire in the next season.

We enjoyed a good period of gay vampire release after release, so we could find release. Two years ago I complained we were having a vampire drought, but that was nothing compared to now. If anyone has some news to share, please post a comment. For now I’m just going to have to rewatch Twinklight.

Twinklight returns with Edmund and Brice

Twinklight has been updated with a new episode after a two month wait. The episode is over 28 minutes long featuring Edmund, played by Krys Perez, and Brice Carson kiss and caress each other, building the anticipation with every bite, suck, and touch. Krys slinks between Brice’s legs, minding his fangs while sucking his dick. Brice returns the favor before the vampire flips him over to eat his ass. When the vampire finally sinks his cock into Brice, their fucking is intense and passionate. After things get sticky when the boys cum, they get bloody as Krys feeds.

In a previous update, Edmund stalks Brice down an alley; when he corners him, Brice is turned on by the vampire and invites him home. The new episode picks up the story, but even at the end of this update, Brice still hasn’t been turned. It’s a good episode, with a good lengthy sex scene and thankfully including fangs and biting. It would be easy to criticize, especially for the long wait since the last episode, but that would be the only sore point at this time. Judge this werewolf for yourself

Teen Wolf premiered on Sunday with a second episode airing Monday night in it’s regular time slot. It’s partly a re-make of the Michael J. Fox movie, except that it’s not a comedy. Our ‘hero’ Scott is bitten by a wolf and cursed to become a werewolf. His abilities are enhanced after the bite and he soon becomes a star player on his school’s lacrosse team, ruffling the ego of Colton Haynes (who played a werewolf in The Gates). When Scott first transforms he’s not half bad with his fangs, though we see the wolf that bit him fully transformed and he’s less appealing. But ultimately he’s a werewolf. The upside is the rumor there will be a gay character in Teen Wolf, but I have my fingers crossed we’ll also see vampires, after all nearly every vampire show or movie has been ruined by adding werewolves. Nothing says they have to be enemies either, but obviously the vampire will be hotter and better. And here’s the bonus, the pilot/premiere episode is available for free on itunes in HD (and standard-def), plus the second episode is there to download too.
