Judge this werewolf for yourself

Teen Wolf premiered on Sunday with a second episode airing Monday night in it's regular time slot. It's partly a re-make of the Michael J. Fox movie, except that it's not a comedy. Our 'hero' Scott is bitten by a wolf and cursed to become a werewolf. His abilities are enhanced after the bite and he soon becomes a star player on his school's lacrosse team, ruffling the ego of Colton Haynes (who played a werewolf in The Gates). When Scott first transforms he's not half bad with his fangs, though we see the wolf that bit him fully transformed and he's less appealing. But ultimately he's a werewolf. The upside is the rumor there will be a gay character in Teen Wolf, but I have my fingers crossed we'll also see vampires, after all nearly every vampire show or movie has been ruined by adding werewolves. Nothing says they have to be enemies either, but obviously the vampire will be hotter and better. Twinklight updates will continue

A few weeks ago Afton Nills commented to one of the posts here. I hadn't realized at the time, but Afton had also written a longer piece on the Twinklight backstory. Afton was defending the lack of fangs in some scenes. Sure I miss them, but I want to see more scenes too, so if not including the fangs during the sex saves time then let's be supportive. And it's a real bonus to get this backstory... maybe a bit more of that could come with each episode. Read more

Vampire pride comes to Toronto

Oh I so tempted to cross the Atlantic for this one. Mitchel Raphael's monthly decadent dance party in Toronto, Sodom, will host it's third vampire ball, but this time for pride. A last minute Twinklight update for April

I noticed the calendar today and realized that April is almost over. And I haven't posted an update here in over a month. I've been searching the internet looking for some gay vampire news and there has been so little to report. Until today. Twinklight has been updated after over a month. Titled, "Adrian and Kain - Won't You Come In?" the story involves Adrian Layton and Kain Lanning. After some kissing they strip each other down to pale skin, tongues locked in a passionate kiss, before mouths cover cocks. Kain throws Adrian's legs over his shoulders to penetrate his breathless victim. It's when Adrian straddles Kain and fucks himself that he cums. Kain cums but only when he tastes Adrian's blood does he find release. Looks pretty hot to me, and the trailer definitely makes it worth checking out. There's biting, but it looks like the fangs are done with special effects and Kain wasn't wearing any. The biting came at the very end, after both boys find release. I'm glad to see Kain has returned as a vampire after Egan brought him into his army. I hope to see him again, but with proper fangs. Hopefully the story will continue more frequently soon. Finally Edmund returns to Twinklight

Finally the leading gay vampire adult film series has returned with an Edmund episode. Overnight (for me at least) a new Twinklight video was released. I haven't yet viewed it, but I can see that this new episode features Edmund and a new character, victim 6. Whether this is a flashback like the last time we saw Edmund, or in the present while he's supposed to be with Billa (Skyelr Blue), it's hard to tell. We haven't seen our Edmund, the wise and road wary vampire since he chased Brice Carson down an alley. The new video, which appears in the trailer to start with an homage (or spoof) to Interview with a Vampire, but then in true Twinklight fashion the story isn't just homoerotic, it's full on gay. Edmund stands in the shadows was Josh works at his desk. The two of them talk and Edmund smolders with desire. He's hungry and needs to feed, but it's not blood that this vampire seeks. Vampires Boys now on DVD

The latest gay vampire movie has finally been released. And just a reminder, here's a run down of the storyline. Time is running out for Jasin and his vampire brood. In order for them to survive, Jasin needs to find a mortal whom he can to turn into a vampire and spend eternity with. Luckily, Los Angeles provides plenty of young candidates. The brood has their eyes set on Tara, a young, gorgeous blonde college student. Tara is open to the idea of becoming a vampire, but someone else enters the picture to disrupt the brood's plans. Caleb, a fresh faced college student, new to Los Angeles, keeps dreaming of a mysterious stranger. At school, Caleb meets the stranger, Jasin, and the two share is an instant connection. Final episode of Brighter in Darkness

The eighth and final episode of Brighter in Darkness is now online and the story is neatly and quickly wrapped up, but with a few final twists along the way. We discover more about Toby and his sister Charlotte as they and Lucas begin their battle to defeat Lilith in a final showdown. Not a natural update

It's been a busy week, but not for gay vampires. However I do have a few updates to share. First, episode 7 of Brighter in Darkness is now online, so check it out. Only one episode remains in this first season. Unnatural by Michael Griffo is now shipping. I finally received my copy from Amazon though if I had known about the extra week delay I would have bought it for Kindle or from the Apple iBookstore. Get Unnatural in print from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk. Start reading right away digitally from the iBookstore, or from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk. So far I am quite pleased with the story and I am currently engrossed in finishing it. Initially I have found the writing poetic, descriptive and well-crafted. Griffo switches between characters from one sentence to another which could be confusing, but it gives the reader insight into what each character really wants to say. Some stories, maybe like real life, could progress more quickly if all the characters just said what they really felt, but such tension keeps the story alive. Finally, Kain Lanning posted a comment on the latest Twinklight video saying we should expect more to come. If that was from the real Kain, then that's great news, and since I haven't heard from the filmmakers, it's the only Twinklight news I've gotten lately. Let's hope more updates come soon! The website promises two updates a month and they have almost been keeping that promise... but the average is more like one per month.

Twinklight finally updated with new episode

Vampires Contemplate Eternal Life: "This is one of our bloodiest scenes as of yet. All three men involved - Kyle Richerds, Elijah White, and Kain Lanning - are vampires by the end of it. They feed off each other with blood an with sexual pleasure. After a feeding frenzy they screw like animals with blood still dripping from their faces." I can't help thinking this update should have come weeks ago. Twinklight episodes are meant to be posted every 2 weeks, and January saw two new updates. I had hoped a new episode close to Valentine's day, not a week and a half later. But thankfully an update! And better still, after the last two odd episodes, here's one where the vampires have fangs. Starring two newcomers (Elijah White and Kyle Richerds) and Kain Lanning, the boy Egan chased through a forest before seducing and I thought turned "to build his army". The description doesn't seem accurate, there's no proof that either Kyle or Kain become vampires. Maybe a portion of the video was cut off. And I was confused to see Kain return and not as a vampire. The sex is good, though nearly all the vampire activity is gone after the initial feeding. The story opens with Elijah, berating Kyle for letting other vampires feed of him. Seems Elijah is a special vampire who can resist sunlight (like Edmund and Egan) and yet he could lose this gift if he tasted another vampire's venom. This is the first time in the Twinklight series that aversion to sunlight has been mentioned and it's easy to assume that before all vampires were daywalkers given scenes showing Edmund and Egan in broad daylight. Elijah then feeds off his slave Kain, who's kept in a cage. Kyle is then allowed to drink Kain's blood. Kyle, while still Elijah's slave, is the one to top in this scene, but the vampire seems completely in control. The additional photos tell more to the story, so check them out after the video. In sequence the story unfolds and after the sex, Elijah's fangs have returned, ready to bite Kyle.

New Twinklight updated expected very soon

A new episode appeared briefly on Twinklight.tv today, before vanishing into the night. The video titled: Vampires Contemplate Eternal Life, stars three twinks, one of whom Egan chased through a forest in a previous video. The update's description read that this was "one of our bloodiest scenes as of yet." Adding further that "all three men involved - Kyle Richerds, Elijah White, and Kain Lanning - are vampires by the end of it." Sounds promising. Episode six of Brighter in Darkness now available

Good news from Brighter in Darkness director, the latest update from Brighter in Darkness is now available online. And it's a good one. After Toby's sister discovers that her brother has become a vampire, Lucas returns to Toby while he's in the shower. A pretty hot and bloody scene unfolds before the boys head off on a quest.
