Hottie baring his fangs in The Lair Some necking in The Lair

here! Network will soon be premiering their new original series, The Lair, which apparently will feature some hot vampires. I can only hope these vamps will be treated as sexy hot boyfriend material, rather then being portrayed as evil. From the website:

In a small island town, the bodies of young nameless men are turning up dead with grisly wounds to their necks. As Season One of The Lair begins, a young journalist named Thom is investigating the mysterious John Doe Murders. Clues lead Thom to a private gentlemen’s club called The Lair, where the darkest desires are fulfilled.
As Thom gets closer to solving the mystery, he finds himself ensnared in a blood thirsty coven of vampires. As the story unravels, a lost love fulfills its destiny and old alliances are betrayed. This supernatural soap is as dark as it is erotic and will leave fans wanting to return to The Lair again and again.

The photos, including the one linked here, already has me turned on and eagerly waiting. Kudos to here! for making the kind of TV we here at gaymalevampire.com want to watch.

Well now I’ve seen all six episodes of Here TV’s The Lair I can give my full option. I’m trying to be very supportive of Here since this is the only gay vampire tv program available. Overall I enjoyed it, but it’s not the best tv show made. Considering the small audience potential for Here, the production values were quite good. THe vampires were hot; though there could have been move fang action. The only female character should not even have been in the story line; either the character felt forced, token or the actress was just plain bad. Often the dialogue between the doctor and the sheriff seemed slow and artificial.

The surprise ending and cliff hanger pretty much saved the show. Without giving away the story, the evolution of the main characters made for a happy ending.
