Happy Halloween and here is your treat, Storyteller, the webapp that writes you into a short gay-vampire story. Choose either the role of mortal or vampire and live the fantasy. But there is also a trick! Storyteller is in beta and has only been tested with a few visitors. Twinklight Halloween update disappointing

As promised, an new episode starring Kain Lanning and Ryan Sharp has appeared at Twinklight.tv just in time for Halloween, but it is by far one of the worst updates in the series. I have been very kind over the past year as the Twinklight episodes have slid downhill and not been released with any regularity, however after waiting over five weeks this is one update lacking any vampire content. I can excuse the vampires biting without fangs, or the scenes with fangs but no biting, or even the two bus stop bench scenes, but there is nothing vampire about this video. It doesn't feel like it belongs on Twinklight, as if it should be on any other twink site. I know there's a good future ahead for Twinklight, but you wouldn't know it as a paying customer. Read more

The time around Halloween is the busiest here at Gay Male Vampire, which makes sense because Halloween is like the high-holiday for vampires-lovers. You can be the star in your own vampire novel

I've discovered a new book available through Books By You, Hot Blooded. And after a lot of web searching, Hot Blooded appears to be the only gay vampire novel where you write yourself (or your boyfriend) into the plot. From their website you enter all your characteristics and name, and Books By You ships you a customized one-of-a-kind novel. The story is adopted from the straight version (which was also toned down for teens). Read more

Halloween creeps closer

The week is over and the Halloween parties have begun. It looks like parties are happening from tonight until Monday. I'm glad to say there are a few events in Europe (a continent not as familiar the these traditions). But thanks to gays, Halloween has become an adult holiday. And what better chance to be able to come out of the coffin for just one weekend, even if your friends wonder why you are a vampire every year. So just a bit of news to share for tonight... Halloween tricks and treats from Next Door

With a special thanks to Ryan for sharing the news, Next Door Studios will have a few special videos this Halloween. Dead Head features a vampire and horned-creature (Kevin Crows & Anthony Romero) coming October 27 on Next Door Buddies, while in Demonlover Rod Daily is a demon with fangs and blood-red eyes awoken by Silas O'Hara to be released October 28. Halloween desktop treats

I think these have been recycled from last year, but Nextdoor Studios has sent over some vampire themed desktop images featuring Marcus Mojo, Trystan Bull and Brandon Lewis. Nextdoor has also hinted in their email that there will be something else coming next week (cutting it close aren't they!). Last year Nextdoor Male had the very hot Suck This with Marcus and Samuel O'Toole, so hopefully they'll do another vampire film. Read more

Second Twinklight DVD coming in time for Halloween

Twinklight: Vampires Diary will be released next week just in time for Halloween. The DVD contains five of the additional episodes that have popped up on the Twinklight.tv site in the last year including the scene where Jayden Ellis attacked Kain Lanning in the woods, the flashback to Brice Carson and Krys Perez meeting, the two alley scenes featuring the threesome of Jonathan Cole, Tyler Bolt and Alex Todd, and when Jason Alcok meets vampire with a bad east-London accent Jae Landen, as well as Elijah White's scene where Kain Lanning is in a cage and he seduces Kyle Richerds. The vampire king is coming out in Vamperifica

I am quite excited about a new film making the festival rounds, Vamperifica. The story is centered around Carmen (played by Martin Yurkovic), a flamboyant college kid who discovers that the soul of a vampire king resides within him. His followers have found him after several hundred years and fulfilled his dying wish, to be reborn. Now Carmen is a vampire who is not only struggling between his friends and his destiny, but who is also taking to his new life with all he's got. Read more

Bite Marks

Bite Marks is a gay-themed horror-comedy about truck driver Brewster (Benjamin Lutz) carrying a load of coffins to a funeral home who picks up two hitch hikers, gay-couple Cary (Windham Beacham) and Vogel (David Alanson). When Brewster's GPS gets them lost and they end up broken down in a junkyard after sunset, we discover that the coffins aren't empty. As night falls blood thirsty vampires emerge from the coffins and the trio must protect themselves and try to survive until dawn. Read more

New features are coming but first some glitches

I've been hinting that there are some new things coming to Gay Male Vampire. Unfortunately you may spot some odd new pages appear and disappear as I get things working properly. Hopefully the new features will roll out one piece at a time rather than one massive new update that might overwhelm the site.
