Twinklight: I suppose it’s versatile

The latest episode of Twinklight is now available and my initial reaction is disappointment. Check out the photos or the preview image of the video and you'd expect to see vampire action between AJ Abner and Conner Bradley, but there are no fangs in sight.

I hope this sticks this time. Twinklight has finally been updated with the latest video I saw on Thursday, and amazingly the date the video was added to the site was April 5. So we went the whole weekend with the video on the site but not linked to.

New Twinklight episode live today

UPDATE: trailer no longer available. It's finally happened, a new episode of Twinklight is going to be available at Twinklight.tv neatly on time. I had word to expect it today (April 5) and the trailer is already available. We should expect the episode to go live later today.

That Twinklight craving

Over two weeks ago I wrote that we would soon see new Twinklight episodes and I would shout about the return of the gay vampire series with the newest of vampire twinks. And I have yet to announce the new videos not because I've failed to be on the ball, but because the videos have yet to appear on the twinklight website. Before March 1 I had it on good authority that we should expect the new content in '3-4 weeks' and Twinklight filmmaker Afton had even blogged about the completion of filming and editing. That was at the beginning of March. Now over two weeks in, no new episodes. Frankly I think the whole second series could have been released on DVD faster.

New Twinklight scenes coming soon

Wonderful news for Twinklight fans, the continuing gay vampire series is returning soon with new videos and all new twinks. Just today Twinklight director Afton Nills has updated his blog with the good news. I can confirm that the final scenes were edited and sent last week to the website and are expected online very shortly.

Twinklight episode: a chance encounter

After over two-months waiting, a new episode of Twinklight has been released. I'm over a week late sharing this news, but I think I can be excused because I have only been checking the regular Twinklight site everyday which had not been update, unlike the members only part of the site where the video was available.

A last minute Twinklight update for April

I noticed the calendar today and realized that April is almost over. And I haven't posted an update here in over a month. I've been searching the internet looking for some gay vampire news and there has been so little to report. Until today. Twinklight has been updated after over a month. Titled, "Adrian and Kain - Won't You Come In?" the story involves Adrian Layton and Kain Lanning. After some kissing they strip each other down to pale skin, tongues locked in a passionate kiss, before mouths cover cocks. Kain throws Adrian's legs over his shoulders to penetrate his breathless victim. It's when Adrian straddles Kain and fucks himself that he cums. Kain cums but only when he tastes Adrian's blood does he find release. Looks pretty hot to me, and the trailer definitely makes it worth checking out. There's biting, but it looks like the fangs are done with special effects and Kain wasn't wearing any. The biting came at the very end, after both boys find release. I'm glad to see Kain has returned as a vampire after Egan brought him into his army. I hope to see him again, but with proper fangs. Hopefully the story will continue more frequently soon. Finally Edmund returns to Twinklight

Finally the leading gay vampire adult film series has returned with an Edmund episode. Overnight (for me at least) a new Twinklight video was released. I haven't yet viewed it, but I can see that this new episode features Edmund and a new character, victim 6. Whether this is a flashback like the last time we saw Edmund, or in the present while he's supposed to be with Billa, it's hard to tell. We haven't seen our Edmund, the wise and road wary vampire since he chased Brice down an alley. The new video, which appears in the trailer to start with an homage (or spoof) to Interview with a Vampire, but then in true Twinklight fashion the story isn't just homoerotic, it's full on gay. Edmund stands in the shadows was Josh works at his desk. The two of them talk and Edmund smolders with desire. He's hungry and needs to feed, but it's not blood that this vampire seeks. Latest Twinklight episode shows confused boy under vampire’s power

The newest Twinklight episode was released last night... always when I have gone off to sleep so I walk up to a morning treat. In it, another lost and scared boy is sitting on that deserted bench. This time he's crying. Suddenly the vampire arrives and assures the boy is not going to hurt him. It does look into his eyes and take control of the boy, willing him to undress and begin sucking. Through the whole episode, the domineering vampire is in complete control. Jason Alcok and Jae Landen star in this latest video. These twinks are pale and emo, which is a nice change. Our vampire is attempting to do an East-London accent, but it doesn't last too long. Like the previous video, this vampire moves quickly and doesn't show his fangs, and while there is a little nibbling part way through, there's no bloody bite similar to the other episodes in the series. Overall it's good, but the last two Twinklight videos have lacked the depth and continuation of the storyline as well as the amount of vampirism. If I saw this video on another twink site, I wouldn't think it was gay vampire related. I'm watching Twinklight for the vampires, not ordinary twinks. New Twinklight episodes are being released every two weeks as promised on the Twinklight.tv site (so hopefully the next one will be in time for Valentine's day). Latest Twinklight episode explains how Brice became a vampire

The newest video to be added to the Twinklight story is now available. Edmund begins stalking Brice Carson down a dark alley, finally swooping in to attack him. Once Brice realizes his attacker is a vampire, he invites him home because vampires have always been a fantasy for him. The premise is one fantasy I've had many times; if attacked by a vampire I'd be more turned on than scared. What follows for the two boys is a pretty steamy twinkie sex scene, including a descent amount of rimming. Since Brice appears later in Twinklight as one of the vampires, the very same who turns Bailey, this first encounter sets him up. Twinklight storyline continues as Egan builds his vampire army

I just recently noticed that after a dry spell, a new scene was added to Twinklight. Not just a new scene but a brand-new episode that continues the storyline. And there are more scenes on the way. Up until October, subscribers to Twinklight could see when the new videos were being released. I had heard that two videos would be added in November, but only one appeared on the last day of the month. But I've now been told that two episodes will be added per month which started with the latest featuring Egan hunting a boy through the woods before seducing him. The best vampires from Twinklight

You might not have noticed but I removed the poll for the best gay vampire from Twinklight. The results show that Edmund (played by Krys Perez) was the clear winner, and he is after all one of the stars of Twinklight. Edmund received 95 votes with Egan (played by Jayden Ellis) coming in second with 42 votes and Aidan Chase in third with a close 40 votes. Bailey, JT Wreck, scored third with 29 votes. I am terrible though, I completely left off victim 1 (original cast member for the role of Billa played by Preston Andrews), and I must admit that this over sight should render the whole process void. But I won't. What I will rant on about are my favorites vampires from Twinklight. True, Krys Perez did an awesome, well acted and sexy performance as Edmund, but my personal favorite vampires were in order Egan, Bailey and Victim 1 (because his turning was hot). Jayden Ellis' performance was outstanding and he's damn hot as a vampire. So Egan is my number one. He should be your's too, I mean, check him out. Next up, Bailey. Sure he's a bit camp but he made a sexy vamp. His character deserved a little more screen time as a vampire after turning and feeding, and maybe a bit more interaction with his buddy Billa. Maybe in the sequel? JT Wreck is quite a tall and lean twink and I was happy to see him become a vampire. Finally Preston Andrews. He was recast because he made a better vampire, and it shows from the tiny amount of footage where he's been turned. The scene where he is bitten by Egan and wakes a vampire was one of the best and hottest for me. I did find it odd that he begged to be turned then fought back against Egan once the biting began; it almost ruined the moment but his awakening saved the scene. Two more additions to Twinklight

For those not already subscribed to Twinklight.tv, you won't know that two more videos have been added to the extras—an interview with the ever hot and incredibly-sexy-as-a-vampire Jayden Ellis (who plays Egan), and an extended scene between Rad Matthews and Levon Meeks. The extended scene is extended but I preferred the opening of the original scene because the back and forth dialogue between the two actors was a better edit with more close ups of Rad. I loved the interview with Jayden, and it was sexy seeing him speaking with his fangs. Another video with cast interviews and a blooper video will be added this coming week, followed I expect because I was told, by the start of additional episodes. I'll let you know when the new content is going live if you happen to be waiting to join once it's up.

Two new videos have been added to Twinklight.tv, an extended scene with Bailey and a vampire with a hot wax fetish, and a spontaneous group shower scene. September will see the release of more videos added to the Twinklight.tv collection; additional episodes. Twinklight extended scene added

A number of extras have been added to twinklight.tv including the first extended scene, Billa and his ex-boyfriend have one hot, final fuck. This scene was not entirely well explained in the original cut, because as you know Twinklight is supposed to have a plot so as best I understand Billa is looking for a new start and so he moves and finds Edmund. Of course before he leaves his old life, he has one last night with his boyfriend, although really we don't know he's his ex since they basically just have sex. Really the first scene of the movie (while hot, but vampire-less) could have been any random hookup. Another extended scene will be added Aug 30 and coming in September we should hopefully see the additional episodes, which were originally set to be released Aug 15, but the extended scenes were added instead. Twinklight review

Calling Twinklight the best gay vampire adult film is not an exaggeration. Since first seeing Twinklight, my recommendation has been that every gay vampire fan should see the film, even if you are not a fan of twinks. Having seen every gay vampire adult film, it's quite easy to see what has come before and to fairly compare them to Twinklight. Twinklight not only compares well to other gay vampire porn films, but up against many regular vampire films both in terms of a solid storyline and plausible acting.

Twinklight will only improve online

There are a few gay vampire adult films that have inferior online versions which we have to live with because of limited or non-existent availability on DVD or that tape stuff we used to use. This was a concern I had with Twinklight, but I am now pleased to confirm that the online and DVD versions are the same cut, however the online version will be expanded with future episodes. Starting August 15, additional scenes will be available online at twinklight.tv that will continue the storyline first with extended scenes and director's cuts, then in September the extra episodes will be released, but only online. This is quite exciting. I had felt there was much more to see in Twinklight, especially at the end when we see Egan's final scene. I'm not saying don't buy the DVD if you plan to watch Twinklight over and over again, but you should consider keeping up with the continuation of Twinklight as the story unfolds. Of course I will do my best to keep reviewing the Twinklight episodes as they come. Twinklight early thoughts

Well to be honest I haven't watched Twinklight completely, but thanks to Twinklight.tv (and gaylifenetwork.com) I had a quick look at the online version and I'm very happy with what I've seen so far. I know I'll be watching Twinklight over-and-over again, so I will want the dvd (also available from Twinklight.tv, but getting a membership to the site will allow you to see updated content (and I think there's going to be more to Twinklight to come). I will post a full review soon, but I can only urge you to go see Twinklight... it has the highest recommendation I could possibly give of any gay vampire adult film. My early rating is 4.5 out of 5... but maybe it could be 4.999 out of 5. The vampires are hot (5/5), the amount of vampire action is fangtastic (5/5) and the guys simply adorable (5/5). For a gay vampire adult film it excels, and the plot is miles ahead of anything else on the market. Holding my final judgement until I seen it fully and watched the dvd (to make sure it has the same scenes). So did I mention, go watch it now!. Sorry, I'm quite excited, but it was well worth the wait. Twinklight is also now available pay-per-view from AEBN or Buy the Twinklight DVD from TLA.

Twinklight cast and plot

Sometimes it's hard to tell twinks apart ;) I have been going over all the Twinklight photos available and watching the trailer to put a name to a face, mostly because since rotating this one photo upside down and suddenly getting a better look at one beautiful vamp in particular, I've been wondering who he is. Well it's Jayden Ellis. So who are all these guys and can we get any insights into the story line with a bit of reading. See some of the cast and read my musings on the plot.

It has been over a month since the last update, sorry boyfriend drama. The last month, a bit slow for vampire news, and I have been reading away trying to catch up on all the vampire books out there. And if you have been following Afton Nill's blog then you will have seen several updates since I posted the photo of beautiful Bailey feeding, truly on of the hottest pics Afton has teased up with. Twinklight story unfolds with another cute vampire

The latest Twinklight twink to succumb to his wounds and become a vampire is JT Wreck (playing the role of Bailey). Earlier we saw a video showing Brice Carson feed off JT and now we get a snap showing JT is a vampire. According to Afton, Bailey "hangs out with the local vamps allowing them to feed on him with hopes of one day becoming one of them"... and I'd say that has happened. Unlike a certain sex-less straight vampire series that shares a similar name, this film is going to be worth watching. The vampires are actually showing fangs, they bite and get turned. And of course there's going to be loads of sex. It's possible to piece all these clips and previews together to get an idea of the full story line, but I suspect there's going to be a lot of surprises for viewers when the film is released. I do hope the earlier preview showing how vampires are killed won't be used in the final film, it would be terrible losing any of these hot vamps. See Afton's post.

Twinklight bite video posted

Twinklight filmmaker Afton Nill has posted an amazing preview clip showing one of his vampire twinks sink his fangs into another twink (probably after they had just had a bit of hot sex, I assume). I am utterly overwhelmed. The bite is very real and very sexy. There have been a lot of bites over the years, and this ranks at the top. The fine acting by JT Wreck helps; he looked like he was in real agony as Brice Carson bites him.

Another day and another hot Twinklight update

Afton posted a few more snaps from two more days of shooting Twinklight, including some amazingly hot biting. I thought for a moment I'm starting to see all the best shots, but I just can't wait to see them tied all together. In one of these scenes, Lucious (played by Preston Andrews) gets turned by Egan (Jayden Ellis), something I'll have to see for myself on film. Twinklight vampires are now even hotter

Well yet again every time I stop checking Afton's site for a few days, up pops an update – or three. Any concerns I had before are gone... these vampires have fangs and look amazing. Readers were introduced to Billa earlier (played by Preston Andrews) and his love interest Edmund (Krys Perez). Afton has recast Billa because he "felt Preston would make a better vampire than mortal in this film". And after looking at the fangtanstic (sorry) photos I have to agree. Afton added he "felt [Preston's] skin tone, look, and personality were better suited for one of the vampires. Preston is primarily a top as well." Personally it wouldn't bother me if a vampire was a bottom, I mean who says a vampire can't be the passive one? Now there's a new Billa and Preston has fangsso I'm happy, and my excitement for this film is still growing (as well as something else).

Twinklight now a feature film

After a considerable period when I was checking Afton's blog daily, I stopped checking. That is until today. And while I'd been away, Afton had been blogging and sharing news about the progress of Twinklight. The first revelation is that Twinklight will be available in two versions, a hardcore and a softcore feature. I'm pleased and I still can't wait to see the final film (both). There are two videos to whet your appetite as well. The rough clip of Edmund and Billa kissing already shows the amazing effort and skill that has gone into this film. Twinklight is going to be hot, but also beautifully shot and perfectly composed. I'm excited by this small glimpse into the story and turned on by these actors. (Read on...)
